Create a great unit

‘Great units’ showcased here embed inclusive teaching practices, academic literacies, digital literacy and/or career development in the curriculum. They demonstrate how often minor changes to the ways in which activities or assessments are designed, or learning materials are presented, can produce significant gains for diverse student groups.

Each of the projects owes its success to careful analysis of the characteristics and needs of the unit’s students, the findings of researchers who have gone before, and the productive dynamic that can develop in partnerships of academic and professional staff.
