Cheating and COVID-19: some CRADLE suggestions
7 April 2020
Will the COVID-19 pandemic be accompanied by a second pandemic: rampant online cheating? That’s a tough question to answer, but my hunch is no, it won’t. But the rapid shift to online learning will provide some students who want to cheat with more opportunities to do so. The question is: what are we going to do about that?
We have been hard at work on a new two-page resource in our CRADLE Suggests… series specifically focused on addressing cheating in online learning. It contains practical suggestions, drawing on research from CRADLE and the broader literature. Please download, share broadly, and let us know if you find it useful!
