All major topics related to academic integrity are covered including contract cheating, plagiarism, assessment security, and the impact of generative artificial intelligence on teaching, learning, assessment, and academic misconduct.

The launch will be led by the book’s editor in chief, and CRADLE Honorary Associate Professor, Dr Sarah Elaine Eaton. Contributors to the handbook will be on hand to answer questions and offer insights into their contributions, including CRADLE Co-Director Professor Phill Dawson.

This edition of the Handbook of Academic Integrity:

  • Goes beyond student plagiarism to provide a detailed and comprehensive reference work.
  • Demonstrates commonalities and differences in approaches to integrity on an international scale.
  • Engages with controversial debates such as the use of surveillance technologies to address academic misconduct.

Other CRADLE contributors to the book include CRADLE Honorary Fellow Dr Rebecca Awdry and CRADLE Honorary Adjunct Associate Professor Wendy Sutherland-Smith. There is a burgeoning interest in the importance of academic integrity, how to safeguard it and how to address breaches appropriately, so join us for this compelling and this topical presentation online.
