Remember we all need to keep moving every day for optimal health, even if it’s just for 30 minutes.
Moving doesn’t need to be hard, there are creative ways to move in your day-to-day life! We don’t even think about what we’re doing when we’re absorbed in something enjoyable, so to help you keep moving between classes and have some fun, we’re holding a treasure hunt on each campus this month – so get sleuthing and you could share in our fantastic prize pool valued at $2240!
Crack your campus clues to enter now!
By 9am on each Monday morning for three weeks (15, 22 and 29 April) we’ll be posting a new riddle for each campus on this blog (check your campus riddle in the drop-down menu below). Solving this riddle will lead you to discover the location of a beautiful painted rock hidden somewhere on your campus.
Once you follow the clues and spot the rock in its secret location, turn the rock over and discover the code word on the underside (please remember put the rock back exactly where you found it for the next explorer!).
For your chance to go into the draw to WIN one of four six-month DeakinACTIVE memberships or a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5 Premium Noise Cancelling Wireless Over-Ear Headphones, simply complete the entry form with your details and the code word once you’ve read and consented to the Terms and Conditions. You’ll be able to access the entry form by scanning a QR code placed near each hidden rock you discover.
Update 6 May 2024: This competition has now closed. Congratulations to our winners! Celina Jaldon, Riki Lethbridge, Adhya Mehrotra, Ayden Cronkwright, Anna Olakkengil Albert.
Week 3 riddle, Monday 29 April
In LC’s depths, past the café’s delight,
A white pot plant holds the rock, out of sight.
By Health & Wellbeing’s calming stance,
to the left of Security’s watchful glance.
Week 3 riddle, Monday 29 April
Upon a bar table, amidst clinks and chatter,
In this communal space, where memories scatter.
In the DUSA Kitchen, where flavors meet,
Find the rock, a moment sweet.
Week 3 riddle, Monday 29 April
In the heart of campus buzz, where students convene,
Beside the café’s aroma, a treasure unseen.
Near the vending machine’s hum and the lounge’s cheer,
A cosy spot awaits, the rock drawing near.
Week 3 riddle, Monday 29 April
In the corner where greenery thrives,
Amongst the bark where tranquility dives.
Opposite Building B’s medical grace,
Find the rock in this serene space.
