How you can access Deakin services either online or on campus
The safety and wellbeing of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic remains Deakin’s top priority. While restrictions are starting to ease, we’re taking a measured and cautious approach to reactivating our campuses. This is in line with the state government’s staged approached to Victoria reaching COVID Normal.
For Trimester 1 (T1), the majority of your classes and seminars will be online. Some other learning experiences, such as practicals and labs, may be held on campus – if this applies to you, you’ll receive specific information at the appropriate time, and your STAR timetable will show the campus, building and room location. You are also welcome to attend campus to study or make use of Deakin’s various facilities.
If you attend campus in T1, remember you must:
- Complete the COVIDSafe Learning Module before your first visit.
- Follow the two-step check-in process each time you attend campus. This is a government requirement to support COVID-19 contact tracing, and a condition of entry to our campuses.
These measures form part of our COVIDSafe plan and are in place to keep our community safe. Read more about the rules we all must follow to keep Deakin COVIDSafe.
