European higher education students: contested constructions – CRADLE Seminar Series #2 2023

For our second seminar of 2023 we are pleased to welcome Professor Rachel Brooks in conjunction with the Research for Educational Impact (REDI) Strategic Research Centre. Professor Brooks is a Professor of Sociology and Associate Dean of Research and Innovation at the University of Surrey in the UK. The seminar will unpack the differing conceptualisations of the role of the student in European higher education.

Data Paradoxes: The Politics of Intensified Data Sourcing in Contemporary Healthcare – CRADLE Seminar Series #1 2023

For our first seminar of 2023 we are pleased to announce that in conjunction with Deakin’s Science and Society Network and Monash University’s Associate Professor Mark Davis, Professor Klaus Hoeyer of the Centre for Medical Science and Technology Studies, University of Copenhagen, will present an analysis of the politics of intensified data sourcing in healthcare as it unfolds in Denmark.

This presentation will give insight into a 6-year development of a theory-grounded, pedagogy-focused, design-driven and practice-implemented approach to hyper-hybrid teaching and learning.
