Get a great deal on some used Deakin Waurn Ponds Campus office furniture!
Are you looking for something to spruce up your desk or office space at home?
As part of Deakin’s Reuse Pop-Up Store program, we’ll be holding a sale at The Lakehouse, Building JD, Waurn Ponds Campus from 9am to 4pm on Friday 26 April offering a range of excess furniture and monitors at reasonable prices.
This way we can give items from Deakin spaces no longer required on campus new homes, and you can get yourself a good deal.
Items up for sale include desk chairs, tables, computer monitors and other office equipment and furniture! Prices of the items range from $5 to $50 and purchases will be via card only.

How will the sale work?
- All items available for purchase have been assessed to ensure they’re in working condition.
- The item/s you have selected will be marked as ‘sold’ by the contractors assisting with sales in the shop.
- The contractor will then process the payment of the item/s via card only.
- Please note that items must be loaded into a vehicle or trailer on the same day of purchase, there will be no delivery or hold options, and all items are pre-assembled.
- As all of the items are pre-assembled, a contractor will be able to assist you in carrying your item/s to your vehicle and we recommend bringing a Ute or trailer if you’re thinking about purchasing a desk or larger item.
- Temporary parking will be available in Car Park 2 next to Building JD (pictured below) to pick up your item/s.
You can direct any questions to staff in the shop on the day. Unfortunately, we cannot respond to enquiries in the lead up to the sale and no items can be held.
This is the perfect opportunity to improve your home study set up. So come in and take a seat (or desk, bookcase or monitor)!
