No vehicle access to Smythe Street, CP2 or CP3 at Waterfront Campus on 1 and 2 June

If you drive to Waterfront Campus or are planning to visit soon, please be aware of these upcoming changes to vehicle access and traffic conditions for Smythe Street, the Multideck Carpark (CP2) and the open-air carpark (CP3) due to construction works on the Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre (GCEC).

What you need to know

Smythe Street will be closed on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June.

There will be no vehicle access to Smythe Street, including to the Multideck Carpark (CP2) and the open-air carpark (CP3). Vehicles will not be able to enter or exit CP2 or CP3 during this time.

Pedestrian access from Brougham Street to CP2 and CP3 will remain.

Alternative parking

The underground carpark (CP1) at building D via Brougham Street, will be available for staff and students between 7am and 10pm, as alternative parking during these dates. Orange bays can be utilised by all VPermit and CellOPark users on this occasion.
