Deakin University will be hosting netball royalty at Burwood Campus next week, with our elite-athlete students Liz Watson and Kate Moloney coming to talk to students about their recent Netball World Cup victory and what it takes to become world champions.
Since her 2014 debut with the Melbourne Vixens, Liz Watson (Australian Diamonds Captain, Melbourne Vixens Co-Captain) has been one of the most successful netballers in Australia. Liz is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at Deakin.
Debuting in 2013, Kate Moloney (Australian Diamonds Player, Melbourne Vixens Co-Captain) has tasted the ultimate success across premierships and MVP awards. Kate is currently undertaking a Master of Business (Sport Management) at Deakin.
