Share your fave song for our Fusion Festival global playlist and you might win a $100 Uber Eats voucher!
Did you know that Deakin welcomes students from more than 120 countries? This diversity is one of our greatest strengths. In fact, we think it’s worth celebrating and we’re calling on you to help us do just that during Fusion Festival and Harmony Week!
Running from Monday 21 to Friday 25 March, Fusion Festival aligns its values with Harmony Week regarding inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone – from the traditional owners of this land to those who have come from many countries around the world.
Nothing says celebration more than music, so we want to create a playlist to be played throughout Fusion Festival that incorporates your favourite tracks from around the globe and showcases how diverse our student cohort is.
We’ll be launching the playlist on Monday 21 March on Harmony Day. You’ll hear it in Student Central and at other locations across campus throughout that week, and will also be able to download it for your study and party needs.
Even better, the first 100 students to submit a song will go into the draw to win a $100 Uber Eats voucher, so hurry!
How to enter
All you have to do is submit your favourite song using the form below and we’ll add it to our Spotify playlist. You’ve got until 5pm on Thursday 17 March to tell us your go-to tune.
Any songs with explicit references or profanity will be excluded from the final playlist, so keep it clean!
This competition has now ended. Congratulations to our winners Telis Ioannou and Benjamin O’Rance!
