Entrants will battle it out to win this year’s Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition and the Visualise Your Thesis (VYT) competition. The best entries will be on screen at the gala awards ceremony next Thursday. Months of hard work will be on show in our online Webinar finals and awards.
Join Vice-Chancellor, Professor Iain Martin, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research, Alfred Deakin Professor Julie Owens, to cheer on the finalists for 2021. These short, sharp presentations will capture your attention and won’t let go.
Three Minutes Thesis: PhD students tell us about their research using only their voice and just one slide.
Visualise Your Thesis: PhD students make a multimedia minute to explain the what, why and how of their thesis project.
The winner of each competition is awarded profile, prestige and a prize of $2000. Each will represent Deakin in their respective international final.
The People’s Choice vote: Judge the best entry and you get to vote for the People’s Choice Award winners.
