Local Word Writers Festival is back for a second year to showcase the extraordinary talent of this region’s writers and creatives!
Over two exciting days, the festival features writers’ workshops, panel discussions, and author talks which will be held across various libraries in our region. There will also be an announcement of the winner of the Poetry Prize at the Festival on Saturday 26 August, along with the launch of the 2023-24 Writing Prize competition.
