Current ambassador, Sonam Dorji, shares his experience with the Wellbeing Ambassador program:
My journey as a wellbeing ambassador is a transformative experience, instilling in me a deep sense of empathy and compassion. I have gained invaluable skills, from effective communication and creative engagement to the ability to guide individuals towards essential resources. This role is broadening my understanding of wellbeing, including the importance of sexual health, and allowed me to nurture a sense of community through initiatives like the Walk’n’Talks around the beautiful campus.
The Wellbeing Ambassador role is a paid casual position for a minimum of 12 months. To apply, you must:
- have completed a minimum of eight units of study (with at least a credit average) and have at least two trimesters still left to complete
- undergo an employee Working with Children Check and National Police Record Check
