Celebrate the 2024 Diwali Festival at GIFT City and Waurn Ponds campuses!
We invite you to attend our celebrations at the GIFT City and Waurn Ponds campuses for Diwali—the annual Hindu festival of lights, signifying the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair. Diwali is a joyful milestone celebrated by people across the world irrespective of their culture or religion.
This year’s festival will also commemorate Deakin’s 30-year partnership with India. Guided by an ‘in India, with India, for India’ philosophy, Deakin has built a strong connection with India’s academic, research, business and community organisations.
