2022 TCS Sustainathon: solve real-world business challenges and you could score a $5000 cash prize!
Are you keen to develop your problem-solving skills, graduate employability and industry networks?
Deakin has partnered with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and we are inviting all Deakin students (undergraduate, postgraduate and HDR students) to compete in the upcoming TCS Sustainathon. You’ll team up with other Deakin students to solve a range of real-world business challenges. Not only will you get to flex your creativity and meet like-minded students and professionals, you might even score a generous cash prize for your efforts – there’s $5000 prize money available per challenge!
What is the TCS Sustainathon?
The 2022 TCS Sustainathon Australia and New Zealand Challenge invites you to be a driver of change by creating sustainability-led solutions for leading organisations.
You’ll be helping industry leaders find innovative ways to solve problems and implement sustainable plans to further social progress, environment preservation and economic growth.
There’s five business challenges to choose from, so take a look at the challenges and start thinking about how you could possibly go about solving them! It’s a great way to supplement your studies and kickstart your future career.

Complete this Deakin Expression of Interest (EOI) form by Wednesday 7 September 2022.
You can apply as an individual or as part of a team.
The Business and Law Peer Support and Transition team will assess all Deakin EOIs, form teams to represent Deakin and register these teams with TCS on Friday 9 September. Please indicate your challenge preferences in your Deakin EOI form so that you can be matched with students with similar interests.
Remember to please read the timelines carefully given Trimester 2/Semester 2 exams are coming up.
