We offer our support to those affected by the Qld and NSW floods
A major flood event is impacting communities from Maryborough in Queensland to Grafton in New South Wales. Brisbane’s CBD has been inundated and there has been a record-breaking flood in Lismore.
As a community, we stand together to recognise and support those residents who are affected by the devastation of this ongoing state of emergency and the resulting displacement.

Staying safe
It is essential you have the right information to keep safe. To stay up to date with the current flood warnings and other updates, we recommend the following sites:
- Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) provides the most current weather information, including incidents and flood warnings for both Qld and NSW.
- The State Emergency Service (SES) hosts maps of affected regions and evacuation warnings for Qld and NSW, plus FAQs about what you should do to request SES help in emergency situations.
- Services Australia provides specific information about financial support you may be eligible for.
- Queensland Government Emergency Services and Safety and Emergency NSW also provide details about support and financial assistance options.
Thank you
We say an enormous thank you to the brave emergency service workers and many volunteers who are risking their lives to protect people, homes and land.
