We offer our support to those affected by the current NSW and QLD floods
Many residents in New South Wales and Queensland are currently facing the traumatic impacts of extreme weather and flooding throughout these states. As a community, we stand together to recognise and support those that have been impacted by the devastation of this ongoing state of emergency and the resulting displacement.

Staying safe
It is essential you have the right information to keep safe. To stay up to date with the current flood warnings and other updates, we recommend the following sites.
- The Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) website provides the most current weather information, including incidents and flood warnings for both NSW and QLD.
- The State Emergency Service (SES) hosts maps of affected regions and evacuation warnings for NSW and QLD, plus FAQs about what you should do to request SES help in emergency situations.
- The Services Australia website provides specific information about financial support you may be eligible for if you’ve been affected by the floods, including the Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment and the Disaster Recovery Allowance.
- Emergency NSW and the QLD Government Emergency Services and Safety webpage also provide details to help you navigate support and financial assistance options.
Thank you
We say an enormous thank you to the brave emergency service workers and many volunteers who have risked their lives to protect people, homes and land and continue to do so.
Donate today
You can help make a difference. In partnership with the NSW Government, the charity organisation GIVIT is managing donations during the NSW flood recovery. To contribute towards both the QLD and NSW flood recovery, you may wish to make a donation to the Red Cross or Salvation Army.
