About Rossie

Rossie obtained a Bachelor of Materials Engineering (honours) degree in 2013 from Monash University.

She is a PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof Maria Forsyth, Dr Haijin Zhu and Prof Douglas MacFarlane.

Her research focuses on the field of proton conducting membranes for energy applications. In the current study, she investigates the properties and the molecular dynamics of new protic OIPCs, that can be promising candidates for a solid-state conductor in fuel cell, redox flow batteries, and many other electrochemical devices.

In her leisure time, she likes cooking, traveling and video making.
