About Me

Karmjeet Kaur Buttar obtained a B. Tech degree in electronics and communication and M. Tech degree in Nanotechnology. She had worked on “Mitigation of microbial induced corrosion by nanobioproducts” in 2017 at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee University.

She is an MPhil candidate under the supervision of Associate Professors Patrick Howlett and Jenny Pringle. Her research focuses on the Redox flow batteries, electrolytes, OIPCs, corrosion and superparamagnetism.

Technical expertise: surface science (SEM, EDSX, XRD, UV-Vic, DSC, NMR, Electrochemical Impedance spectroscopy, FTIR), electrochemical testing for batteries and inert atmosphere glove box, weight loss and electrochemical testing for corrosion measurements.

In her leisure time, she likes cooking, traveling and reading books.
