Join us online for the 13th annual Deakin University virtual Diwali Festival!
Diwali is the festival of lights, an annual celebration that signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair. While Diwali has Hindu origins, it’s a joyful milestone celebrated by people across the world irrespective of their culture or religion.
This year the online event will include:
- a welcome and lamp lighting ceremony
- an Indian cooking lesson
- a Bollywood dance display.
All are welcome however please note registrations are essential. After you register via the link below, you will be emailed a private Zoom link before the date to join the event.
