Victoria will enter a statewide lockdown from tonight: what this means for you

Following today’s announcement by the Acting Victorian Premier, from 11.59pm, Thursday 27 May until 11.59pm, Thursday 3 June, Victoria will be subject to circuit-breaker restrictions to manage the latest COVID-19 outbreak.

As of 11:59pm tonight, our campuses and learning centres are closed to students and staff, excluding essential staff and those students living on campus. Read more about the latest lockdown restrictions.

If you’re worried that you may have been at an exposure site, you must visit the Victorian Government exposure site listing and follow the instructions carefully.

Information about Australia’s COVID-19 vaccination program and the phased approach is being updated based on this latest outbreak. Find out how to get a vaccination if you’re eligible.

Learning

Scheduled on-campus teaching, events and other activities will be paused during the lockdown period. Online learning will continue as planned. If you have any scheduled on-campus learning activities, please check your unit sites for the most up-to-date information.

Clinical placements, other placements and work integrated learning

Approved student health and medical placements, including beyond the five kilometre limit, will continue where partner institutions remain open. These will be managed directly by the schools.

Work integrated learning will shift to online or be postponed. If you’re affected, you’ll be directly contacted.

All Trimester 1 exams will continue as planned.

T2 timetable update
