Graduate Women Victoria Scholarship Program 2015

Graduate Women Victoria is pleased to announce our 2015 scholarship program for women enrolled in universities in Victoria.

2009 winners, among them former Deakin University student, Tania Price, who was awarded the Madeleine Capicchiano Bursary (preference was given to a student who is conducting research on issues of human rights and/or social justice at the local, national or international level).

Scholarships and bursaries range from $2500 to $6000 and are offered to female students enrolled in 2015 at Victorian universities, or at the Victorian campuses of the Australian Catholic University. Scholarships and bursaries are available to female students enrolled in the following courses:

  • Masters or PhD by Research including a bursary for a student researching human rights or social justice issues
  • Masters or Masters Extended
  • Diploma of Education or Master of Education including a bursary for a student preparing to teach mathematics, science or technology
  • 4thYear Honours or Graduate Diploma

We are also offering a scholarship to an Indigenous female student enrolled in an undergraduate degree.

Only Australian citizens or permanent residents are eligible for the above scholarships, but we offer one scholarship to an International student enrolled in a research higher degree.

Applicants are asked to demonstrate that they are or have been experiencing disadvantage in the pursuit of their studies.  Full details of all these scholarships including application forms and referee guidelines may be found on our website at www.gradwomenvic.org.au
