ANSA is Australia’s organisation aimed at the interests and needs of student anthropologists. It caters particularly to postgraduate students who are currently conducting PhD fieldwork and writing theses, but all students of anthropology are encouraged to be involved in the organisation. Deakin University PhD student, Ainslee Hooper is currently the Deakin University ANSA representative.
ANSA students have been represented at international conferences such as the American Anthropology Association conference, in New Orleans.
