Fast-track your degree by studying overseas in T3

Would you like to progress your study over Trimester 3 – and have an amazing cultural and travel experience at the same time? Applications for our Trimester 3 short-term partner programs are now open!

Studying with one of our partner universities is a great way to learn from leading international academic staff while earning credit for your undergraduate course.

There are two types of short-term partner programs:

For most programs, you’ll need a minimum WAM of 60. Here’s just a sample of what’s on offer in T3:

Study French in beautiful Montréal

Study in the largest French-speaking city in North America! You’ll develop or refresh your knowledge of French at the Business Language Training Center at HEC Montréal, Canada. Explore new trends and challenges such as artificial intelligence, sustainable development and entertainment, all while being captivated by the splendour of the Canadian winter.

You’ll pay the program fee to HEC Montréal directly, and will also have to pay for flights, accommodation, visa/travel costs, meals and personal expenses.

Study international relations in the Czech Republic

If you’re studying international relations, politics, criminal studies, history or international law, this intensive course at Masaryk University will help you understand some of the fundamental international security issues and their implications for Europe and the world. It includes classes, active group work, guest presentations and field trips to Prague, Vienna, and Budapest.

There are two exchange places and six study abroad places available in this program. You’ll also have to pay for flights, visa/travel costs, meals and personal expenses.

Study global business or Mexican culture while travelling in Mexico

In this four-week program, you’ll travel to different Tec de Monterrey campuses across Mexico. Under this innovative academic model, you’ll take part in field trips, company visits and networking events that will exercise your intellectual curiosity, and develop your entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership skills in a multicultural setting.

This is an exchange program, so you’ll pay your unit fee to Deakin as normal, along with a program fee. You’ll also have to pay for flights, visa/travel costs, meals and other personal expenses.

But wait, there’s more!

There’s a range of other T3 short-term partner opportunities on offer, including in South Korea, Scandinavia, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom. Find out more and apply.
