Final-year female students: check out this free digital marketing mentoring program

If you identify as a female student and you’re in the final year of your course, don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn more about a range of digital marketing and eCommerce topics.

With only one in five leadership roles in the Australian information and communication technology (ICT) industry held by a female (2021 census data), the time is now to take strong action towards gender parity in tech.

That’s where the Deakin & Megantic ‘Women in Tech’ mentoring program comes in! Up to 10 female Deakin students will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive mentoring program with Megantic, one of Australia’s leading eCommerce and SEO digital agencies.

How it works

Over two months, you’ll participate in five two-hour intensive workshops held at Megantic’s head office in South Melbourne. Megantic mentors and other subject matter experts will facilitate sessions on:

Workshops will likely run from 9–11am on Thursday 13 and 27 July, 10 and 24 August, and 14 September. Coffee and food will be provided.

To be eligible, you need to identify as a female student and be in the final year of your degree. You’re keen to learn more about digital and technology, and can dedicate the time to attend and actively participate in the five workshops.
