Bilby Community Centre and Community Cultural Council

Bilby Community Cultural CouncilSally Badawi has worked very hard with the Bilby Community Centre to incorporate the issues of refugee resettlement, multicultural festivals and a diverse range of community needs.

Bilby is on the cusp of change and the Community Cultural Council is ready to listen to the discussions about how to shape our city into new and culturally diverse relationships.

Bilby Historical SocietyThe Society aims to:
– Increase awareness of the historical and environmental issues related to the Bilby community, including the importance of the local graveyard and its nearby wetlands area
– Develop written materials on issues such as the historical background of the community, the importance of preservation of unique habitats, lobbying to preserve both the history and environment.
