Educating the Bilby Region

Bilby Primary School (established 1861), is situated in the town of Bilby. Our idyllic country town presents a safe learning environment where a comprehensive curriculum supports the values of a positive work ethos, self discipline, cooperation, pride, respect and a sense of community. The majority of our close to 500 students travel to school from within the town or the relatively new estates just out of town, or by one of two bus services covering the Mount Owen and northern districts.

Bendalong Secondary CollegeBendalong Secondary College

Bendalong Secondary College is a truly dynamic, vibrant and welcoming school. The senior campus is located in the heart of Bendalong, and the building dates back to 1871. The junior campus (years 7-9) is based next to the sporting grounds on the Bendalong-Bilby Road, adjacent to the football, netball, soccer and tennis facilities.
About 750 students attend the junior campus, with 670 in years 10-12. Students come from all parts of the Bendalong district including Bilby, and a number have moved from small regional areas to enrol at the College.
At Bendalong Secondary College what matters is not just how good a student is, but how good a person they are and how hard they are prepared to work to achieve their personal best.
