Staff Development Opportunities: DeakinLead, Mentoring Partnership Program (MPP)

The Organisational Development team run four different leadership programs during the year to support and inspire staff in the development of leadership and management skills.

  • Deakin Academic Future Leaders (DAFL) – for Academics Level C and D, $5000 per participant, locally funded.
  • Deakin Manager’s Advancement Program (DMAP) – for HEW 8/9/10 Managers
  • Deakin People Excellence Program (DPEP) – for HEW 6/7 supervisors
  • Deakin Employee Excellence Program (DEEP) – for HEW 6/7 non supervisors, aspiring leaders

Mentoring Partnership Program (MPP)

Open to all continuing and fixed term staff, the program guides and supports mentors and mentees over a six month period through organised events and regular catch-ups. The program is designed to influence and encourage successful learning outcomes through building effective professional relationships.
