EARTH UNBOUND: CLIMATE CHANGE, ACTIVISM AND JUSTICE

(Michele Lobo, Eve Mayes, Laura Bedford and the EU Collective)

MAY DIALOGUE: Climate change, Country and Indigenous-led activism

Date/Time: Thursday, 27th May 1.45-3.00pm (Melbourne)/ 11.45am (Broome/Perth)

With: Naomi Godden and Bill Webb of the Boodja Justice Group (Edith Cowan University); Sandra Wooltorton of the Nulungu Research Institute (Notre Dame University); Mindy Blaise of the Centre for People Place and Planet (Edith Cowan University) and the Common Worlds Research Collective; and Anne Poelina of the Martuwarra Fitzroy River Council.

This session will foreground how Indigenous sciences, epistemologies, ontologies and axiologies inform collaboration in the context of climate change/Country in the northwest and southwest of Western Australia. The organisations are linked in an outwardly expanding polycentric network of research and actionism: a coalition of hope!
