Promoting the inaugural Respect at Uni week

The Library has partnered with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to promote the inaugural Respect Week event with a digital display. The display is designed to raise awareness about the event and it’s purpose as well as promoting the various activities that people can participate in during Respect Week.

What is Respect Week?

Victorian universities are joining forces to promote the importance of respect, equality and inclusion in our campuses, online spaces, and communities through Respect Week. The National Student Safety Survey has revealed universities must continue to improve their response to, and prevention of sexual harassment and sexual assault. Our communities should be safe and free from violence, and preventing gender-based violence starts with a culture of respect. Respect Week 2023 has included a series of workshops and events focused on the themes ‘Respect. Belong. Thrive’.

Five digital screens featuring the Respect at Uni digital display content. Screens 1 and 5 contain information about the week and it's purpose and screens 2-4 feature information on events happening as part of the week.
