Linda Wells

Writing and editing, teaching and interpersonal connection and communication are the strengths I have developed over many years. I am committed to education, healthy communities, the decolonisation of Australian history and society, self-expression and creative writing.
Linda has worked extensively in Central Australia on community education projects and teaching English as a second language. She ran a small business, offering guided walking tours of the town. She has also written two books, Still a Town Like Alice in 2011 and Kultitja in 2017, and has a third on the way. She was awarded a Lane Cove Literary Award for a piece of memoir in 2017.
