Literature meets Origami

The Melbourne Origami Group is showcasing the “magic” of origami in May. Come see two-dimensional paper transformed into striking three-dimensional fiery dragons, elegant fairies, majestic unicorns, flying witches, and other fantastic creatures. Look for familiar characters from some of your favourite stories and let your imagination soar. As you immerse yourself in the magical, transformative world of paper art, we hope that you will be inspired to pick up some paper and start folding!

Characters from Alice in Wonderland, The Lord of the Rings, The Magic Pudding, and other fantastic beasts and magical beings come to life at two origami exhibitions at Nunawading Library and Doncaster Library in May. The exhibitions were organised by Associate Professor Sue Chen on behalf of the Melbourne Origami Group. Check out below:
