Briohny Doyle – Finalist, Best Writing Award, MPL
Congratulations to staff member Briohny Doyle, who is a finalist for the Best Writing Award in the 2018 Melbourne Prize for Literature. The prize, which carries an award of $30,000 and is open to any genre, is for a published work “of outstanding clarity, originality and creativity by a Victorian writer”. Briohny is one of ten finalists, alongside Judith Bishop, Angus Cerini, Kate Cole-Adams, A. Frances Johnson, Maria Tumarkin, Sarah Krasnostein, Louise Milligan, Jock Serong and Jeff Sparrow. The winner will be announced in November.
