Angela Osborne

Angela teaches professional writing and editing. Her academic publications have ranged across media analyses (of the gendered coverage of athletes, masculinity, celebrity and behaviour, and disability in sport), arts management, student experiences, and sport for development. She has published in Sex Roles, Communication & Sport, the Asia Pacific Journal of Education, Sport in Society, Sport Management Review, Journal of Marketing Management and the Australian Journal of Social Issues.  She also works as a freelance editor, working with academic, industry, and creative/artistic authors.

Angela is the Unit Chair for an under-graduate professional writing unit and teaches under- and post-graduate editing. Her research interests include equity, fairness, and social inclusion, the language of policy, practice, and the media, and multicultural and indigenous arts policy and practice.
