As part of the annual Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, the People’s Ride will return after two years to give cyclists of all ages and abilities a chance to ride alongside the 2011 Tour de France winner. This is your opportunity to revisit the great outdoors and experience Australia’s world-famous coastline on two wheels.
Deakin University, as an official partner of the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and the Deakin University Elite Women’s Road Race, encourages you to participate or support our riders as a spectator!
Please note you must be a competent cyclist and have your own bike to participate in this event. You can read the rider information here, which includes tips for preparing for the race, what to bring on the day and course maps.
