Join us on Thursday 21 March for the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation’s first policy forum of the year, 2024 – The Year That Democracy Around the World Is Put to the Test, where the panel will discuss what national elections in Taiwan, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Belgium, EU, South Africa, South Sudan, Ghana, Mexico, Uruguay and the USA mean for the future of democracy.

Speakers are: Tito Ambyo (RMIT University), Pradeep Taneja (University of Melbourne), Emma Shortis (The Australia Institute) and Greg Barton (Deakin University).
