24-hour access at Waurn Ponds Library during exams

Attention, Waurn Ponds students and staff: we are expanding our 24-hour access for the last three weeks of T1!

The library wants to make sure you have a safe place to study and prepare to be successful on your exams. In the lead-up to and during the Trimester 1 exam period, Waurn Ponds Library will be expanding its 24-hour spaces to include all of level two.

From Monday 27 May through Friday 14 June, you’ll have access to the study rooms, toilets, return chute, computers and book collection on level two at any time of day.

Staffed hours during this time will remain the same:

Outside staffed hours, levels one and three will be closed but level two will remain open and staffed by Security. You may be asked to show your Deakin Card to be in the library outside staffed hours.

Library Chat will still be available 24 hours a day, so you can ask any library-related questions you might have, even when library staff aren’t on-site.

Not at Waurn Ponds?

Burwood Library is always open 24 hours on level two, but during the last three weeks of T1, they will also be opening up level three 24/7 to give you more options for study spaces.

As always, all of Waterfront Library is open 24 hours to Deakin students and staff.
