The School of Architecture and Built Environment is proud to announce that we are now able to offer home-grown Architectural Technologists and we commend our graduating pioneers in the discipline to industry and the community.

This November Deakin will see the first ever cohort of students completing the Bachelor of Architectural Technology. Deakin is a leader in creating and adapting degree programs to service the ‘jobs of the future’ and therefore recognised an industry need in Architecture and Construction for professionals trained to communicate across the gap between design and building. With highly developed graphic, documentation and computing skills, ‘Architectural Technologists’ are greatly sought after in Europe and the UK, and many overseas graduates have built successful careers in Australia.
