Word for Word is Australia’s only non-fiction writing festival. Word for Word is a unique annual literary event showcasing non-fiction writing in all its many facets and forms with world-renowned writers, dynamic panel discussions and “in conversation” sessions.
Join editor, Benjamin Law, and contributors, Justine Hyde and Yamiko Marama as they discuss the anthology, Growing Up Queer in Australia. In this panel, contributors will share insights into the varied experiences of LGBTQIA+ people in the community, with Deakin University’s Daniel Marshall.
