Interdisciplinary Grant: Call for Applications for 2021 Round. Deakin SSN

Dear colleagues,

The Deakin University Science and Society Network has announced the call for applications for its third annual interdisciplinary grant scheme. Applications are invited from early- and mid-career researchers (EMCARs) for the Interdisciplinary Project Incubator Grant. Please share this opportunity with early and mid-career researchers in your area.

The Deakin SSN Interdisciplinary Project Incubator has been developed to provide Deakin EMCARs with resources, tools and training to conduct high quality and impactful interdisciplinary research. The Incubator will provide up to $7,500 of seed funding to each successful applicant, as well as providing mentorship, regular feedback on project development, and assisting in brokering collaborative interdisciplinary relationships.

The aim is to develop interdisciplinary projects that bring together STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines and HASS (Humanities and Social Science) disciplines.

Applications close on Friday 6 November 5:00pm AEST.  For more information, check the scheme web page.

Thank you for your assistance in sharing this important initiative with your EMCARs.

Kind Regards

Alfred Deakin Professor Julie Owens
