2021 Humanitarian Leadership Conference – April 2021

CHL’s 2021 Humanitarian Leadership Conference – submissions are open!

A pandemic, a climate crisis, and a global movement for racial equality – the consequences of inaction have never been more dangerous or more real. But right now we have the opportunity for genuine change.

The 2021 Humanitarian Leadership Conference will interrogate what a genuinely transformed humanitarian system can look like; where the affected communities, local organisations, and their national governments are the ‘humanitarians’.

Themes:

The Conference will challenge traditional humanitarian systems, actors, and perceptions with discussions on:

  • Decolonising the humanitarian ecosystem
  • Leadership in a world of upheaval and crisis
  • Transformative ways of working
  • The political economy of aid and solidarity.

Get involved:

Submissions to participate in the 2021 Humanitarian Leadership Conference are now open.

The 2021 Humanitarian Leadership Conference will provide the opportunity to take us from rhetoric to action, but we need you to get us there.

We want to hear from all voices from the humanitarian system to help us answer: Who are the humanitarians?

We invite submissions that are engaging, insightful and disruptive, and adaptive to the digital environment.

Submissions are open until 1 December 2020.

Full details are available on our website, and please get in touch with our team if you would like to discuss your idea.

We are going digital:

An immersive online event, the 2021 Humanitarian Leadership Conference will be our most accessible conference yet. With a heavily reduced registration fee, our premier event will be a fully inclusive experience for all humanitarians.

Powered through Delegate Connect to create a seamless, virtual experience from anywhere in the world, the Conference offers two days of panels, workshops and presentations that will challenge, explore and develop a new dialogue and understanding around the real humanitarians and how we can approach current challenges through systemic change.
