Dr Timothy Neale and Prof Emma Kowal co-authored an article titled “Related” Histories: On Epistemic and Reparative Decolonization’ in the journal History and Theory. The article is part of a forum on ‘Decolonizing Histories in Theory and Practice’ edited by Warwick Anderson and Gabriela Soto Laveaga.

Prof Fethi Mansouri gave a keynote presentation on 10 September to the Y20, the Youth Engagement Arm of the G20 Group. The presentation was titled ‘Multiculturalism and Global Citizenship in a post  COVID19 World: the role of global youth in emerging/post-covid recovery agenda’

On 11 September Dr Mark Wood and Dr Monique Mann gave invited presentations on their respective research at a virtual event for Social Sciences week concerning “Digital Justice – Emerging Technologies, Methods, & Research” hosted by the Queensland University of Technology and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Criminology.

Dr Michele Lobo was an invited speaker at the Organisation of Diasporic Initiatives (ODI) International Web-Symposium on “India and it’s Diaspora Across the Globe: Expectations from Each Other Amid and After COVID-19 Pandemic” on 12 September, 2020. The symposium was hosted by the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (Delhi) and Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) along with Hyderabad University, India.
