Co-Production Research in Practice: Working with Disabled Young People
Wednesday 12 February, 1.00 pm—3.00 pm

Deakin Downtown

Level 12, Tower 2, Collins Square
727 Collins Street
Docklands

Professor Dan Goodley (The University of Sheffield) discusses the Living Life to the Fullest Project, an arts-informed research project funded by the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), which was co-produced with a Co-Researcher Collective of disabled young people living with life-limiting and life-threatening impairments.

Dr Eve Mayes (Deakin University) will respond to Dan’s presentation, particularly in relation to the methodological and ethical problematics and possibilities associated with ‘voice’, ‘co-production’ and affirmation in research that seeks to work ‘with’ and simultaneously question the category of ‘human’.
