Congratulations to Emma Whatman in SCCA!

Emma has been awarded the Alfred Deakin medal for doctoral theses (https://www.deakin.edu.au/students/studying/awards-and-recognition/research-prizes-awards-and-medals/alfred-deakin-medals-for-doctoral-theses). There are only four medals awarded a year and they are not specific to the Faculty of Arts & Education, but university wide.

 The title of Emma’s thesis is Postfeminist identities in Contemporary Fairy-Tale Adaptations for Young People.
