ARC Linkage Project Funding success – Fethi Mansouri

Congratulations to Professor Fethi Mansouri and team on the receipt of an Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Grant.

Professor Fethi Mansouri from the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation (ADI), Faculty of Arts and Education, has been awarded $381,761 for his three year project Mapping Social Services Provision for Diverse Communities. Professor Mansouri’s project will consider the provision of social services in multicultural societies, one of the major factors that affects immigrants’ integration experiences.  It will systematically map both the provision and the impact of different service delivery modes in three distinct areas of interest to migrant communities – health, social and employment services.  The project will assess the experiences and impact of social services on social inclusion, citizenship and human rights for migrant groups which will provide empirical evidence for help governments plan policies and improve social inclusion of these groups through the effective provision of these important social services.

The ARC Linkage Grants, funds projects of up to five years duration and support the development of long-term strategic research alliances between research institutions and industry partners, or other end-users with the aim of developing solutions to real world problems and research questions.
