The Pacific Fund is meant to initiate projects and not to support the development of a project through time. In case you foresee that the project you are submitting might lead to a potential re-application later on, this has to be mentioned from the start.

The projects must be co-financed at least at 50 % of the total amount of the eligible expenses

Our work is organised around Impact Areas, which are revised following research and wide consultation with stakeholders as part of our strategic planning process.
 
The Impact Areas are currently alleviating homelessness; increasing community resilience to withstand major social and health challenges; reducing urban impacts on the natural environment; and reducing education and economic inequality.

19 Aug 2019 Cherry Gertzel Postgraduate Scholarship

The Cherry Gertzel Bursary Award is an annual award to assist female post-graduate students to complete study or research in African Studies.

One bursary of $10,000 will be awarded annually.

19 Aug 2019 Euan Crone Asian Awareness Scholarship

The Australian Institute of International Affairs invites applications for the Euan Crone Asian awareness scholarship. This promotes a better understanding of Asia among young Australians by enabling travel and study in Asian countries. Applications will be accepted for projects in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
