Intending applicants must complete the nomination form (via this link), obtain endorsement and sign off from their SRC/Institute/ADR/Faculty and send the finalised nomination form to [email protected] by 5pm Monday 2nd September 2019.
Future Fellowships are extremely competitive and applications take considerable time and effort to draft. Only those applicants who are truly competitive and who have the time to devote to constructing a very strong application should apply for this Fellowship.
Grant Guidelines for 2020 submissions are not yet available from the ARC. However, the 2019 Future Fellowship Grant Guidelines state individuals are permitted to submit a maximum of three Future Fellowships over the period in which they are eligible. Eligible individuals must have been awarded their PhD on or between 1 March 2005* and 1 March 2015*; if awarded a PhD prior to 1 March 2005* they may be eligible to apply if they have a period of allowable career interruption that would be commensurate with being awarded a PhD on or after 1 March 2005*. Please contact the grants office if further information is required regarding eligibility.
* Anticipated dates for 2020 submissions. To be confirmed when Grant Guidelines for 2020 Future Fellowship submissions are released by the ARC in September 2019.

Nomination form due to Deakin Research Office: 2nd September 2019
ARC release of Grant Guidelines: September 2019
Applications open in RMS: 25 September 2019
Final application to DR-Grants for compliance check: 9am Monday 21 October 2019
Rejoinders: 5 – 19 March 2020
Anticipated outcomes: Mid-2020
