Dr Will Smith has been appointed to the editorial board of Geographical Research.

Dr Will Smith has published an article in the journal Political Geography:
Smith, W. and W. Dressler (2019). “Governing vulnerability: The biopolitics of conservation and climate in upland Southeast Asia.” Political Geography 72: 76-86.

A/Prof Chengxin Pan, A/Prof Benjamin Isakhan and Dr Zim Nwokora recently published a journal article in Politics, entitled “Othering as soft-power discursive practice: China Daily’s construction of Trump’s America in the 2016 presidential election”, and a blogpost about this article, entitled “‘Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, Who Is the Ugliest of Them All?’: Othering as Soft Power Strategy”, can be found here.

Professor Fethi Mansouri moderated a keynote plenary, Managing Diversity: Multi-level and multi-sectoral collaboration, at the 5th World Foum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku, Azerbaijan last week.
