PhD candidate Leanne Kelly has a new paper published with colleagues from the University of Melbourne:

Dr Rose Butler‘s new edited book Asian Migration and Education Cultures in the Anglosphere has just been published with Routledge and is co-edited with A/Prof Megan Watkins (WSU) and Dr Christina Ho (UTS). This book was originally published as a Special Issue of the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies and includes contributions from Prof Jennifer Lee, Prof Rachel Brooks, Prof Becky Francis, Prof Greg Noble, A/Prof Helen Proctor, Dr Arathi Sriprakash, Dr Shanthi Robertson and Dr Dallas Rogers.

Dr Ali Mozaffari has been invited to give the Keynote lecture to the annual Iranica conference in Sydney, 29 September 2019 at the State Library of New South Wales. The conference is titled, ‘Mirrors of Iran: A continuum of Architectural Heritage’.

Dr Vicki-Ann Ware and Dr Anthony Ware have been invited to give a 90-minute workshop at this year’s World Community Development Conference of the International Association for Community Development, in Dundee, Scotland, 23-26 June, 2019. This workshop will showcasing the new programme approaches developed from their research into ways to strengthening everyday peace formation in Myanmar’s Rohingya conflict area, using an innovative arts-based pedagogy. In the workshop, they will present some of the theory and evidence behind the approach, and then take CD practitioners and academics from around the world through a series of sample activities from the workshops they have been running.
