• Dr Billy Griffiths led a postgraduate workshop and delivered a public lecture at the Stout Research Centre for New Zealand Studies, Victoria University, Wellington, last week. His lecture was titled, ‘Encounters with the Deep Past: 65,000 years of Indigenous history’.

Billy was also awarded the 2018 John Mulvaney Book Award by the Australian Archaeological Association for his recent book Deep Time Dreaming: Uncovering Ancient Australia.
